"An ambitious dancer and actress strives to land the role of her dreams, but she is soon met with a life-changing car accident that leaves her paralyzed from the waist down. Her charming ballroom dance instructor helps her to realize she can still dance and be a star performer - even in a wheelchair."

Follow my journey over the next several months as I work to train and film for this incredible role!

My mission is to show people how to overcome major life challenges, chase bold adventures and change the world.

Several years ago, I was approached by country music star, Gabby Barrett, to help her tell a unique love story in the music video for her hit single, "The Good Ones". The music video shows the lengths that someone will go in order to be there for the one they love. Can you guess the surprise ending that had me in tears while filming?

During my interview with Glamour, I was asked a question that in the past has seemed a bit too taboo to discuss - is Miss USA really ready to have a contestant in a wheelchair? I shared with them the challenges required for someone in a wheelchair to get there, but how when we do, we will make a lasting impact on history.
